Introducing Related Records
Navigating to the Related Records tab of the risk shows the following screen:
Here we define relationships with other data entities, essentially tagging the risk to provide additional context for analysis. By example, relating the risk to a vendor allows us to then view the vendor record and see all risks related to it, thereby opening up an element of vendor management and revealing which vendors have most risk attached to them.
Further relationships may be added, for example by integrating with other data sets that may exist in an organisation such as assets, buildings, product, locations etc. - with minor development, these can be loaded into searchable tables to provide further context for risks captured.
Related Records Standard Configuration
Related to Vendor
If this risk is related to a vendor, select Yes to show the Vendor field, allowing you to search a vendor from the Vendor table.
Once a Vendor is selected, click on it to see full details of the Vendor, including a view of all risks related to this Vendor.
Related to Project
If this risk is related to a project, select Yes to show the Project field, allowing you to search a project from the Project table.
Once a Project is selected, click on it to see full details of the Project , including a view of all risks related to this Project.
Related to Strategic Risk
For Operational Risks, this option allows you to relate the risk to a parent Strategic Risk.
Note that Strategic Risks show a list of all related Operational Risks in their Related Records screen.

Related to Quality Process
If this risk is related to a Quality Process, select Yes to show the Quality Process Related to Risk module. This lets you pick existing Quality Processes that are relevant to this risk.
