Introduction
Roadmap (Enterprise Version) has all the features of Roadmap (Standard) plus a range of great additional features that open up new ways of exploring Projects across Portfolios and Programmes.
Stand-Alone Roadmaps
With Roadmap Enterprise you can create Roadmaps as entities in their own right – these are lists of Projects that you can freely select from across all your Portfolios and Programmes. When you create a Roadmap, you give it a name and description and then compile the list of Projects for it. For example, this could be all your currently active Projects across Portfolio/Programme boundaries. Another Roadmap
could be just showing Projects for key strategic initiatives etc.
With stand-alone Roadmaps, you have the opportunity to view Projects across Portfolio and Programme boundaries. In the view, Projects will be grouped within Portfolio and Programme, with those group headings appearing as darker colour bars on the timeline.
Groups can be collapsed and expanded all at once or individually.
Markers
Create Marker by adding new Marker, as follows:
This will allow you to configure specific points in time to be displayed at the top of the Roadmap:
Pseudo Projects
In the event that you would like to add a "temporary Project" to your Roadmap, without having to create a permanent Project, Pseudo Events can be added. These will automatically be included in the Roadmap view, although it can be filtered out (using Projects Filter) if required.
Simply click on New Pseudo Project and type the following details:
Any Pseudo Projects will appear in the Roadmap view, see screenshot below:
