Maintaining Key Risk Indicators

Viewing KRIs on File

Navigate to the Controls & KRIs area (via area selection in the bottom left) and click on Key Risk Indicators to view existing records.

Adding/Editing KRI Records

Click on the + New button at the top of the screen to add a new KRIl or edit an existing record in the list.

KRI Fields Explanations

Field Comment
Title Name of the KRI
Description Description of the KRI
KRI Group Select the appropriate group from the list of configurable KRI Groups. This group will help with searching and reporting of KRI.
Metric Type Select the metric type from the list, to indicate whether values tracked for this KRI are counts, amounts, percentages or ratios.
Metric Naming of what will be measured
Measurement Select either "Less is better" or "More is better" to indicate whether we are striving for a low or high value for this KRI
Target Value

The (maximum or minimum) value we are looking to achieve.

If "Less is better", then this value or any lesser value tracked for this KRI will result in a 'Green' RAG status 

If "More is better", then this value or any higher value tracked for this KRI will result in a 'Green' RAG status 

Target Tolerance

Defining the tolerance threshold for RAG 'Amber' calculation.

If "Less is better", then this value will be added to Target Value to provide the upper limit for 'Amber' RAG status (any higher value will result in 'Red'). 

If "More is better", then this value will be subtracted from the Target Value to provide the lower limit for 'Amber' RAG status (any lower value will result in 'Red').
