This Knowledge article steps you through the process to update your project core solution to the latest published version from Microsoft.
- Open Power Platform Admin Center
- Go to https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/manage/environments .
- Sign in with your admin account.
2. Select the Environment
- In the list of environments, find the environment hosting Project for the Web (PftW).
- Click the environment name to open its details.
3. Access Dynamics 365 Apps
- In the top menu, click on Resources.
- Under Resources, select Dynamics 365 apps.
4. Find and Update Project Service Core
- In the list of installed apps, scroll to Microsoft Project Service Core.
- Click on the app’s name to open its details.
- Review the app details and terms of service.
5. Initiate Update
- Agree to the terms
- Click the Update button.
- Confirm the update
- Wait for the update process to complete.
- This may take several minutes.
- Do not close your browser or navigate away during the update.
6. Confirm Update
- When complete, verify that the status shows as Up to date.
- If errors occur, consult Microsoft documentation or your IT support.
