Portfolio Description

Portfolios are the highest level in the Power Framework organisational hierarchy above Programmes and Projects.

Portfolios contain data columns and related Sub-Registers such as Programmes, Projects, Issues, Risks, Status Reports, Change Requests, Investment, Benefits, Milestones, and Lessons Learned.

From a Portfolio level, you can drill down to the related Programme, Project and Sub-Register records.

Portfolio Connections

See the attached Entity diagram in the Appendices for detailed Entity Relationships, together with the supporting entities. The summary diagram below shows the main connections from the Portfolio Entity.

Portfolio Columns

The columns are documented in the attached spreadsheet.

As previously specified, all Tables/entities and the Columns are stored in the https://Make.Powerapps website. Note that each column is clearly defined with name and column type.

Portfolio Relationships

Relationships include the Custom relationships that have been added to Power Framework, in addition to the Standard System relationships.

The relationships are described in the attached Entity Relationship Diagram for the Power Framework Core solution.

Portfolio Business Rules

There are no Business Rules added to the Portfolio Table/Entity.
