Navigation Menu

The Power Framework Reporting app shows a menu bar on the left, with report groupings that you can expand or collapse using the up/down arrows.

To view a report, click on the report listed within the group.

Standard reports are explained in Power Framework Reports.

Parts of a Report

These are the key components of a report:

Report refresh

By default, reports in Power BI will not reflect the current data in the system, rather they will be refreshed periodically (typically five times a day, please contact your IT Support to find out the specific refresh schedule implemented for your organisation).

This is to ensure fast report performance. Reports will refresh in the background and ‘cache’ the data, so that when you display a report the rendering of the report page is quick.

Most Power Framework reports will prominently display the timestamp of the last refresh in the top left, so you can understand how ‘fresh’ the data is in the report.
