A milestone is a significant event within the Project.
Milestones can be written and updated through integration with an external plan or you can add milestones directly through Power Framework.
Accessing and Maintaining Milestones
From within a Project, click on the Milestones tab to see the list of milestones associated with the Project.
Double-click to the left of the Title of a milestone in order to open it for editing.
Adding a Milestone
To add a milestone, click above the list of milestones.
Milestones from External Tools
Tasks maintained in external planning tools can populate the Milestone table (through scheduled updates). These milestones will continue to be connected to events in the external schedule, but they may still be manually edited e.g. to further categorise them or adding comments – in other words, augmenting information that cannot be sourced from the external tool.
